Puerto Viejo

• Have lunch or dinner at Tamara and eat rice and beans con pollo a personal must (Puerto Viejo main road)

• Have breakfast from a small café from Trip Advisor, there are amazing places

• At night to have beers with reggae go to Salsa Brava or Standford’s both on Puerto Viejo downtown, also Hot Rock’s is cool early noon for karaoke and beers

Cocles

• For beach, go to Cocles it’s a cool walking distance beach, there is a trail behind Salsa Brava that takes you there through the jungle (there are surf boards for rent and volleyball, it’s the cool beach)

Punta Uva

Other amazing beaches to go on bike Punta Uva and playa Chiquita and explore you will find amazing beaches (easy bike ride not so far)

Playa Grande

Manzanillo

A must go to Parque Nacional Gandoca Manzanillo (rent bikes if have enough time or take a cab or bus) spend the day at that beach and go to the mirador.

If you want to do a tourist tour to spot animals can go to Jaguar Rescue Center or Sloth Sanctuary (bit far but can be done together with Cahuita National Park)
